Astralis have signed Anton “Anlelele” Huynh on a short-term loan from Sashi for PGL Major Singapore 2026. The Vietnamese player will take the place of Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov.
Why Astralis needed a replacement
cmtry cannot represent Astralis at the Major while he remains on FUT's VRS roster. The Turkish organization has played only four matches with Álvaro “SunPayus” García and must therefore register him as its substitute for the Major. That situation opened cmtry's place in the Astralis submission for a temporary replacement.
Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard, who was previously benched by Astralis, is still part of the club's VRS roster. However, he is not expected to return to the active five for the tournament, so the team opted for a short-term loan of Anlelele from Sashi.
When the team begins its campaign
Astralis will enter PGL Major Singapore in Stage 2 on November 28. The full event runs from November 25 to December 13. It is the first Major for which Anlelele has been announced: he is now set for a potential debut on the biggest stage with a team already placed in the second stage.
