Where the data comes from
Skin names, rarities, float ranges, exteriors and case contents come from the game's own files and are updated automatically. Names are shown the way the game shows them in your language. Our editors write the descriptions and guides; when a fact can't be confirmed, we leave it out instead of guessing.

Start with the float guide and the exteriors guide. Together they explain why two copies of the same skin can look different and why some skins never come in Factory New.
The wiki is part of SHOT. Some skin pages also show a separate block with SHOT cases that contain the skin; those are SHOT's own cases, not CS2 game cases.
