AK-47 skins

61 skins

The AK-47 is the rifle in the terrorist buy menu (counter-terrorists can still pick one up), and it has a long list of skins in CS2.

Why AK-47 skins differ so much

AK-47 skins don't only differ in colour. Each one has its own float range, its own set of exteriors and its own source. Some examples:

The float guide explains how these ranges work.

Look and wear

The AK-47 has wooden or painted furniture, a long magazine and a top cover that is always in view, so these parts show wear first. Light designs like the Asiimov and Vulcan change a lot between Factory New and Battle‑Scarred. Dark ones like the AK-47 | Slate or the Redline hide wear well. On the AK-47 | Fire Serpent and the Case Hardened, the wood stays wood-coloured and the finish sits on the metal. The comparison guide shows how to judge wear.

Pattern-driven skins

On the Case Hardened, the pattern number decides where blue, gold and purple appear on the metal. That makes it the AK-47 skin where two copies differ the most. Read the patterns guide before comparing such copies.

Where AK-47 skins come from

Many AK-47 skins come from weapon cases, and skins from weapon cases also exist as StatTrak™ versions. Each skin page names its collection and cases, for example the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case for the Redline or the Horizon Case for the AK-47 | Neon Rider. Browse all game cases on the cases page.

FAQ

Which AK-47 skins have no Factory New version?

Any skin whose float range starts at 0.07 or higher. The AK-47 | Redline is one example: its range starts at 0.10.

Does the AK-47 skin change how the rifle shoots?

No. Skins only change the look of the weapon. Recoil, damage and everything else stay the same.
