A finish that hides wear
The float range is the full 0–1. On bright designs that range means a big visual gap. On the Slate it doesn't: Factory New and Battle‑Scarred copies look very close at normal viewing size, with only a slightly rougher, lighter texture on the worn copy. If you like the look and don't care about the exterior label, this is one of the few skins where a worn copy still looks almost like a clean one.
What you actually see
The rifle is covered in matte and slightly textured blacks, including the grip and the magazine, which show a fine pattern up close. There are no logos or bright accents. It pairs easily with any knife or gloves, which is why it often comes up when people plan a dark inventory. For similar ideas, see the black and white selection.
Other skins for the rifle are on the AK-47 page, and the comparison guide explains how to judge wear on dark finishes.
