Why it starts at Field‑Tested
The float range is 0.18–1. Field‑Tested starts at 0.15, so even the lowest possible float already lands in Field‑Tested. That is why you will never see a Factory New or Minimal Wear AWP | Asiimov. The float guide explains how a skin's own range limits its exteriors.
The barrel tells the story
The long white barrel is where wear is most visible. A Field‑Tested copy is mostly clean with a few marks. On a Battle‑Scarred copy it is covered in dark scratches and patches, while the orange parts around the scope and stock hold up better.
