Phases on a butterfly blade
Each of the seven phases gives it a different colour palette. The market name doesn't include the phase, so always check the picture of a specific copy. We describe phases but don't rank them; they are separate looks, not grades.
Spectrum instead of Chroma
The Karambit and M9 Bayonet Dopplers come from the three Chroma cases. The Butterfly Knife | Doppler is different: it is listed in the Exceedingly Rare Special Item group of the Spectrum Case and the Spectrum 2 Case. So the same finish can reach different knives through different cases. The cases and collections guide explains how these special groups work.
Float and pattern
The float range is 0–0.08, so copies are Factory New (up to 0.07) or Minimal Wear. Wear hardly changes the look. Within one phase, the pattern number moves the marbling around the blade, which is why two copies of the same phase still differ. Compare it with the Butterfly Knife | Fade and the Karambit | Doppler.
