BETBOOM beat Liquid 2–1 to reach the IEM Beijing playoffs

BETBOOM completed the Group B deciding match with a 2–1 victory over Liquid. They comfortably took Liquid’s pick of Anubis 13–5, but failed to preserve their lead on Nuke as Liquid recovered to win 13–11. The final playoff berth therefore came down to Mirage.

Mirage decided the series

The teams entered the closing rounds of the third map tied at 11–11. An ace by zorte in round 23 put BETBOOM on match point, and they closed the following round for a 13–11 win. The map scores gave BETBOOM a 2–1 series victory after two consecutive tense finishes.

Magnojez led the server

Magnojez finished the series with a 55–40 record and a 1.32 rating, the best mark among all ten players. BETBOOM advanced to the IEM Beijing playoffs, while Liquid were eliminated in 7th–8th place. His individual output supported the decisive tournament outcome: BETBOOM remain in contention for the title.
