FalleN chose a Flip Knife | Doppler in the rare Ruby phase for his final tournaments of the year. The red blade matches his Crimson Kimono gloves, while the knife serves as a tribute to GuardiaN.
The Flip Knife | Doppler Ruby is covered almost entirely in a rich red pattern. Its color complements the Crimson Kimono gloves in FalleN’s inventory. The Brazilian called GuardiaN a friend and historic rival and decided to use the new knife as a tribute to the former NAVI AWPer.
Ruby is one of the rarest and most expensive Doppler phases. A Factory New Flip Knife | Doppler Ruby has an approximate market value of $1,300–1,500, although the final price depends on wear, pattern and demand. Steam lists all Doppler phases on the same market page, so a specific Ruby has to be identified through the item image and description: the general lowest price does not represent its actual value.
FalleN and GuardiaN faced each other 31 times from 2015 through 2019. Their history includes the MLG Columbus 2016 final, where Luminosity defeated NAVI to claim Brazil’s first Counter-Strike Major title.
