FURIA arrived in China late in the evening, after which FalleN and YEKINDAR publicly voiced frustration with the organizational support before the FaZe match.
Complaints after a late arrival
FalleN wrote that the team landed in China at about 11 p.m. and received no support upon arrival. YEKINDAR added on his channel that nobody met the players at the airport and no transfer to the hotel had been arranged.
The player was also unhappy with the following day's timetable, which put a morning photo shoot and media duties shortly before FURIA's opening match against FaZe. Those two issues — the team's reception and the schedule — formed the core of the public criticism.
One detail was corrected
In his first message, YEKINDAR estimated that the drive to the hotel would take an hour and a half. He later clarified that the trip took about 15 minutes. The confirmed issue is therefore the lack of a pre-arranged pickup and the tight schedule, not an unusually long drive. At the time of preparation, ESL had not issued a public response and no competitive consequences had been confirmed.
