A win with consequences beyond the event
FaZe defeated B8 2-0 in the third-place match at the RLG Tesla Cup. The result mattered beyond the final tournament position: the team collected enough ranking points to guarantee an invitation to PGL Major Singapore 2026. FaZe therefore completed its route into the Major field through the ranking system rather than having to depend on further results elsewhere.
FaZe return to the Major stage
The Singapore event will mark a return to the Major for Twistzz and FaZe’s updated lineup after the team missed the previous edition. The roster can now approach its next stage with a guaranteed place instead of waiting for other teams’ results to settle the ranking race. Beating B8 resolved the central qualification question for FaZe and confirmed that the lineup will compete at PGL Major Singapore 2026.
