A response after Nuke
MOUZ opened the series with a one-sided loss, falling 2-13 on Nuke. Spirit controlled the opponent’s map pick and entered the second map with a clear advantage, but could not maintain the same pace. MOUZ settled on Dust2, converted the important rounds and tied the series with a 13-8 win.
Mirage decides the series
The deciding Mirage remained close until the final rounds. MOUZ handled the pressure better and closed the map 16-14 to complete a 2-1 comeback. donk recorded 35 kills and added an ace on the decider, yet his individual output was not enough to deliver the series for Spirit.
The result sent MOUZ directly into the PGL Masters Bucharest playoffs. Spirit remained in the tournament but dropped into the group of teams holding a 2-2 record. The team now has one more series to earn qualification, with defeat in that match ending its run. MOUZ, meanwhile, can prepare for the knockout stage after navigating two very different maps following the difficult start.
