NAVI beat G2 2-0 as HLTV model calculated an 83-point VRS gain

NAVI defeated G2 2-0 in the opening round of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Both maps were close, and HLTV estimated that the result added 83 VRS points to NAVI’s projection.

Two maps decided by narrow margins

NAVI won Nuke 13-11. Regulation was not enough on Dust2, which ended only after a third overtime at 22-19. The result moved NAVI into the 1-0 pool and G2 into the 0-1 pool.

Before the match, HLTV's model placed NAVI 33rd in the VRS. After the win over G2, the calculation added 83 points and lifted the team ten places into the projected PGL Major Singapore invitation range.

What comes next

NAVI are due to face FURIA in round two among the 1-0 teams. The ranking picture remains fluid, with more matches in Bucharest offering further opportunities to affect the projection.
