After the teams traded Cache and Dust2, the last playoff berth was decided on Anubis, where NAVI conceded only three rounds.
NAVI dominate two maps
NAVI defeated Team Spirit 2-1 in the fifth round of the PGL Masters Bucharest group stage. The series opened on Cache, where NAVI established control immediately and finished the map 13-2. Spirit responded on Dust2, protected its advantage and tied the match with a 13-10 win. Anubis became the decider, but it did not produce a close contest: NAVI closed the map 13-3.
Final berth secured
The victory gave NAVI the final available place in the playoffs. The team recorded the third win it needed in the group stage and will face Vitality in the quarter-finals. For Spirit, the result was a third defeat in the stage and ended its tournament run. Dust2 therefore delayed the outcome without changing it: across the other two maps, NAVI allowed Spirit only five rounds in total.
