Spirit and BETBOOM will meet in the opening round of the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 group stage on October 24. The best-of-three series starts at 13:00 in both Bucharest and Moscow.
An opening Swiss-stage test
The group stage features 16 teams and best-of-three series. Teams advance to the playoffs after three wins and are eliminated after three losses, so the Spirit–BETBOOM matchup will send one side into the 1:0 pool and the other into the 0:1 pool.
PGL Masters Bucharest runs from October 24 to 31. The organizer lists a $1.25 million prize pool, with the top eight teams from the Swiss stage moving on to the playoffs.
BETBOOM returns after a grand final
BETBOOM’s previous official match was the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 grand final on October 18. The team lost 2:3 to FURIA, meaning it begins its Bucharest campaign only six days after a five-map series.
