Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov is now a free agent after officially parting ways with Team Spirit.
Team Spirit has ended its cooperation with Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov. The former starting-lineup captain had been on the bench since December 2025 and is now a free agent. The organization thanked him for their time together and highlighted his contribution to the team’s biggest victories.
Nearly seven years with Spirit
Chopper joined Team Spirit in March 2019. During his spell, the team won 14 events, including eight major tournaments. The defining result was the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 title, while IEM Katowice 2024 and IEM Cologne 2025 were among the other notable trophies.
What comes next
The departure closes a long chapter in chopper’s career, but it does not include an announcement of a new team. In the near term, he plans to focus on livestreaming and developing his YouTube channel. His next public step is therefore tied to media content rather than a confirmed return to a professional roster.
