FISSURE says it has paid about half of its CS2 debt since summer, with the next major phase planned for the first quarter of 2027.
FISSURE CEO Nikolay Vesnin acknowledged the full amount of outstanding prize money owed to teams and players from CS2 and Dota 2 events and apologized to those still waiting. He linked the situation to commercial and financial planning mistakes made in 2025 and placed responsibility on company leadership, including himself.
What FISSURE acknowledged
FISSURE says payments have been underway since summer 2026 and that its tournament in China enabled it to repay about half of the CS2 debt. That figure is the company’s own statement, not an independently verified result. FISSURE also said an initial payment wave to some Dota 2 teams began before its October event.
Repayment plan and continued events
FISSURE plans the next major repayment phase for the first quarter of 2027 and says it will then report publicly on actual progress. The company will continue running tournaments, arguing that this work generates the money needed to meet its obligations. According to FISSURE, prize pools for new events are now secured before they begin and do not depend on its current finances.
