G2 lost 0-2 to Aurora in round two of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. After two defeats, they will face DENDELE in an elimination match on October 26 at 20:00 Moscow time.
G2 lost 0–2 to Aurora, falling 11–13 on Cache and 14–16 on Inferno. Aurora won Cache despite losing both pistol rounds, then overturned another difficult position on Inferno to complete the sweep.
Aurora survives both pistol losses
On Cache, Jimpphat produced key defensive holds at the B site, while XANTARES won eight opening duels. Those contributions allowed Aurora to overcome G2’s pistol-round advantage and close the map 13–11.
G2 moved within one round of taking Inferno when it led 12–9. Aurora then faced a 2v5, but woxic delivered an ace that forced overtime. In the extra rounds, kyxsan added another ace and sealed the 16–14 victory.
G2 faces an elimination match
Jimpphat finished the series with a 1.42 rating, while woxic went 43–28. G2 are now 0–2 after defeats to NAVI and Aurora, and have lost six of their last seven matches. r1nkle recorded 52.9 ADR and a 0.86 rating. G2 will play DENDELE in an elimination match on October 26 at 20:00 Moscow time.
