NAVI led Dust2 9-3 at halftime, but Vitality answered with ten consecutive rounds to win the map 13-9 and finish the series in two maps.
Vitality take control early
Vitality defeated NAVI 2-0 at PGL Masters Bucharest and secured qualification for the playoffs. The series opened on Inferno, where Vitality established control quickly and gave their opponents little room to recover. A one-sided performance produced a 13-2 scoreline. NAVI therefore needed to respond on the second map to extend the match, but the series ended before a decider became necessary.
Dust2 changes after halftime
NAVI looked far more competitive on Dust2 and built a 9-3 advantage in the first half. The direction of the map changed completely after the teams switched sides. Vitality won ten rounds in a row, denied NAVI a single round in the second half and completed the comeback 13-9. That uninterrupted run turned what appeared to be a likely third map into a clean sweep.
Consequences for the standings
The victory moved Vitality directly into the PGL Masters Bucharest playoffs. NAVI dropped to a 2-2 record in the main stage after the loss. They remain in contention, but their route is now reduced to one final qualification match. A win in that series will secure a playoff place, while another defeat will end NAVI’s tournament run.
