YEKINDAR received HLTV’s MVP award after FURIA completed its title run in Bucharest.
A first MVP after twelve EVPs
YEKINDAR has earned an HLTV MVP medal for the first time in his career. Before the Bucharest event, his record included 12 EVP awards recognizing strong performances, but none represented the tournament’s leading individual honor. FURIA’s victory at PGL Masters Bucharest finally connected his personal output with both the top award and a team championship.
The grand final against Nemiga supplied the decisive evidence. Across the five-map series, YEKINDAR recorded a 1.56 rating, a clear measure of his impact in the match for the trophy. That performance came as FURIA recovered from losing the opening map and carried the series through to victory on Nuke.
An individual award inside a team result
The MVP medal cannot be separated from the championship outcome. FURIA won the final 3-2, and YEKINDAR produced his standout number in the deciding series itself. For the player, it is a new career milestone after a long sequence of EVP selections. For the team, it is individual recognition attached to a run that delivered a second consecutive tier-one title.
