GamerLegion sign shalfey and appoint him captain
Aleksandr “shalfey” Marenov has joined GamerLegion as its new in-game leader following Snax's move to the bench.

Aleksandr “shalfey” Marenov has become GamerLegion's newest player. The 24-year-old enters the active five and inherits the captain and in-game leader duties previously held by Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski.
GamerLegion settle on a new IGL
The appointment followed Snax's move to the bench and filled the vacant in-game leader position.
Before the move, shalfey spent two months competing with ex-RUSTEC in online events. He also played for several domestic lineups during 2026 and has now joined an international project for the first time.

Marenov previously represented FORZE, 9 Pandas and Nemiga. Those spells established him on the regional scene, but GamerLegion will be his first roster built with players from different countries. The active five also features REZ, Tauson, FL4MUS and hypex, with imd remaining as coach.
