Valve expands VACNet case-labeling invitations

Valve has sent another wave of invitations to the VACNet labeling page. Players who receive access will see a VACNet icon directly in Counter-Strike 2.

What Valve announced

The company announced the new wave through the official Counter-Strike account on X on October 21. Valve thanked the people contributing labels and linked their work to recent improvements in match quality. It did not disclose how many invitations were sent or how recipients were chosen.

How participation works

The page works as part of the newer Overwatch setup: selected users review match clips involving possible violations and assign labels to them. Access is not available to every player; when an account is selected, a VACNet icon appears in the game interface.

What remains unknown

Valve has not publicly specified how many users are included, which regions are covered, or how long access lasts. The announcement therefore confirms an expansion of the program, but not its numerical scale.
